The Yoga Retreat is an immersive experience which combines the holistic practice of yoga, healthy and light nutrition, deep rest and free time as an escape from everyday hectic life, offering the practitioner the opportunity to explore the inner self by achieving harmony within and with the environment.

Vinyasa Krama yoga (Exploring the bandhas = energy locks; theory and practice.)
18:30-19:30 meditation from the Thibetan tradition. We learn the way and we practice.

Friday July 5th
07:30 – 08:00 meditation (sitting practice from the Thibetan tradition)
08:00 – 10:00 Ashtanga led class (with emphasis on standing sequence)
10:00 – 10:30 Pranayama (gentle breathing techniques to prepare the mind)
10:30 – 11:00 meditation (focused attention) & relaxation
11:30 Rich, nutritional brunch

17:00 – 18:00 svadhyaya : talk on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali (explanation of the first 4 sutras which are considered the most importants)
18:00 – 19:30 Vinyasa Krama yoga (releasing tensions from the back and spine, the house of our nervous system)
19:30 – 20:00 yoga nidra (deep guided relaxation of body and mind)
20:00 vegetarian dinner
Saturday, July 6
07:30 – 08:00 meditation (sitting practice from the Thibetan tradition)
08:00 – 10:00 Ashtanga led class (with an introduction to the intermediate series. We will learn variations (vinyasas) for the safe transition to backbends, accessible to everyone, according to the requirements of the body in order to strengthen the legs and the trunk and to activate the thoracic muscles)
10:00 – 10:30 Pranayama (shitali pranayama)
10:30 – 11:00 meditation (energy centers cleansing meditation)
11:30 Rich, nutritional brunch

17:00 – 18:00 svadhyaya: talk on Yamas – Niyamas and explanation of the 8 limbs of yoga according to Patanjali
18:00 – 19:00 Yin Yoga (releasing tensions from the hips which are related to emotional stress and past trauma)
19:00 – 19:30 sound therapy (relaxation with sound bowl)
19:30 – 20:00 Satsang (we sing mantras with the guitar to balance our nervous system)
20:00 vegetarian dinner
Sunday July 7th
07:30 – 08:00 meditation (sitting practice from the Thibetan tradition)
08:00 – 10:00 Ashtanga mysore style (personal practice and guidance for those who need it)
10:00 – 10:30 Pranayama (viloma Ujjayi)
