Hip is placed in the centre of the body and contribute towards a number of body movements like walking, sitting and lifting etc. However the factors like sedentary lifestyle, lack of exercise and poor posture leads to stiff hip joint also with age our joints become stiffer if not kept mobile. Yoga is an extremely effective practice which not just keeps hip joint flexible the yoga practice strengthens the joints. When hip joint is flexible the body movements become much easier and a lot of other yoga poses become easy to practice. A flexible hip also helps to eliminate lower back pain or knee pain stemming from over compensation.
In the workshop you will learn how to do poses to improve flexibility in the hip joints as well as strengthen the lower back. However these poses must be done with care and patience. So work on your own pace without straining too much. If in the beginning poses are difficult to do then use pillows or yoga blocks for support.
